So I’m in the process of starting the strip, right? My problem…I have too many ways to start the strip.
And I only get one first strip, so I don’t want to blow it. So, as usual I’m over thinking it.
They choice is to just jump right in and let the reader figure out the situation (a ghost is living with a family, not haunting it) or take the time to develop the situation in a more clearly defined way.
I tend to need to introduce characters in a very clear way. I need back stories and context to establish a situation. But I can overdo it to the point of narrative story telling like a Funky Winkerbean type of deal, where every strip is connected to the day before.
I just want it to be funny.
Oh well.
If you just want it to be funny, get Sam and Moe to help…..they tell really good jokes and stuff…..
